My Mosaic (Apr 30)

Happy Weekend!

Maybe it's not a super happy one for you today. You might feel frustrated with the turn of events with the pandemic. Discouragement sets in, along with anger, fear and disappointment. I came across this quote on IG yesterday, I pray it will be an encouragement as you endeavour to deepen the roots of your faith.

"I have learned that in every circumstance that comes my way, I can choose to respond in one of two ways: I can whine or I can worship" - Nancy Wogemuth

May we choose to be true worshipers today.

This Week Around the Web

Here is a word. "It’s tempting to think that sins committed during a hormone surge are somehow less offensive in God’s eyes, and that the consequences for those around us aren’t as severe."

"I had this notion that later in life, when I was older and wiser, I would be more spiritually mature."

I was so encouraged by this. I pray you will be as well.

"My soul is prone to long for beauty and perfection over raw reality." Here's an encouragement for moms to look to Jesus above all else.

I always enjoy Simonetta Carr's short biographies. Here's the story of Robert Jermain Thomas, as he suffered and persevered for the gospel.

Anyone feeling the frustration of polarization? Encountered anyone with strong opinions lately? Here's some great advice as we learn (and re-learn) how to engage with each other amidst difficult topics.
