Happy Friday!

Have any plans for the long weekend?

We would have...but there's overland flooding causing highway closures on the way to the cabin... so that option seems to be out :( Instead we'll watch the rain turn to snow from home.

When describing the righteous person in Psalm 112, verse 7 tells us, "he is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord." By the grace of God, may we continue to grow in our trust and dependence on the Lord, when circumstances don't go our way or our prayers aren't answered the way we want them to be. Let our hearts be firm in faith.

This Week On The Blog

This Week in Articles

Whether our past is painted with public, visible sin or not, salvation came to us powerfully, not by anything we've done, but by the grace of God alone. This article leads us to remember the truth of our condition and our salvation in Christ to be both humbled and joyful.

"Just like God created us to require oxygen and water and food to live, he’s created us to need one another. It is not good that man should be alone, and it never was. So God made the church."

From the Momma Theologians blog this week we're sharing about the big story of Scripture to provide us a lens with which to understand the smaller stories we read in the Bible - how to read the Bible with the whole in mind.

"As much as we might not like to admit it, we’re all weak, needy, and dependent creatures. And let me tell you, sister: this is good news"

"Your Christian faith can and should make you a more effective professional."
