My Mosaic (Jun 24)

Happy Friday!

School is out next week. Can't believe it. I think we're all excited for a break from routine...and yet I love routine. Summer can be a time for reset, to enjoy do fun outdoor stuff together (because our summer on the prairies really doesn't last that long).

As I reflect on the school year, both theirs and mine, the challenges and the joys, I remember that "unless the Lord builds the house, it's builders labor in vain" (Ps 127:1). All my striving day in and day out could really amount to nothing unless God is at the centre of it all - whether it's in work, ministry or family.

As you look over the year thus far, are there areas you find yourself striving on your own strength, where you need to rest in the Lord?

I think we'd all easily agree with this, but interesting then to reflect on the amount of time we spend on social media compared to bible reading... Here's Natalie's thoughts.

Why do people leave the faith? Here's a look at a handful of reasons. This is also a helpful article defining "deconstruction".
